PAFnow Attribute Filter

With the PAFnow Attribute Filter you can decide on which attributes your process should be filtered. There are no limits to the attributes you can select. For example, you can compare two processes based on attributes to see which process runs more efficiently. You can find the Attribute Filter on the report pages Benchmarking and Difference Analysis.

Attribute Filter

This is the icon of the Attribute Filter in the Visualizations pane:

How to get started

Before you can compare your processes based on attribute selections with the Attribute Filter, you have to drag the required fields into the Attributes bucket.

Example

Attributes: these can be selected from different tables (e.g. Case Attributes or Cases).

Example

In this example Happy Path, NumLoops and GroupDuration where selected as attributes.

How to use

Once you have selected the necessary fields for the PAFnow Attribute Filter, you can start to filter and compare you processes.

Drilldown/-up

Using drillup and drilldown you can access the attribute (go to the next or to the previous attribute) that you want to filter by from the different attributes in your selection.

Example

To access the next attribute select Drilldown-Icon and to access the previous attribute select Drillup-Icon Drillup/Drilldown Picture

Expand

With the expand-down-icon, you can add more attributes from your selection to the drop-down-menu. Instead of displaying only one attribute at a time, additional attributes can be displayed. You can then select the attributes directly from the drop-down-menu.

Example

Your drop-down-menu shows PaymentTerm. To see additional attributes in the drop-down-menu, select Expand Icon Expand Picture

Info

After rearranging the order of fields you may need to include fields again with Expand Icon. The icon Down-arrow Icon doesn't work, because the drilldown option is not supported when selecting a visualization element.

Values Selection

As soon as you have selected an attribute in the drop-down-menu, you will see a list of all the corresponding values. Click on a value to select it, repeat as often as needed. Alternatively, you can click-and-drag or press shift and click to select a sequence of values.

Form Selection Picture

Using the search bar, you can also search for characteristics. Delete the filter by pressing Clear Button on the top right.
